Impossible Project PX680 American Woods - Elizabeth and Natasha

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting with two models and a very talented makeup artist/stylist. The models, Elizabeth and Natasha, were both a pleasure to work with and really did a fantastic job on camera. The 70's vibe of the shoot was put together by makeup artist and stylist Shayna Wilson. Shayna was also a joy to work with and is incredibly talented at what she does. 

The goal of the shoot was to put together a cohesive editorial spread, which I shot mainly with digital, but of course I also had along a few other cameras as well. I ran through two rolls of medium format film along the way, which is yet to be developed, and then shot these four images using my SX-70 Sonar and some of the Impossible Project PX680 American Woods edition film. I think the setting of these images works perfectly with the American Woods film border and seeing the instant film has me really excited to see what kind of results I'll get out of my medium format. Impossible Project PX680 American Woods - Spring Daffodil

Today I have a really quick post of an image that I took late last week when the weather was particularly warm out. This photo (actually taken at the same time as this photo) was taken with a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar using Impossible Projects PX680 American Woods film, which is probably one of my favorites special editions that they've come out with to date. I've already gone through one of my three packs (with mediocre results at best... that being my fault) but look forward to using the other two soon as the weather continues to get warmer. Enjoy.

Expired Polaroid ID Ultraviolet Film - Impossible Project PX680 American Woods - Toronto's CN Tower

This past weekend I celebrated my birthday in Toronto, Ontario. Looking for a mini road trip/escape from the mayhem that is St. Patricks Day in Cleveland, we made the five hour trek up north for three nights to eat, drink and shoot some film. While the weather didn't quite cooperate in the way we hoped, we were able to cover a good deal of the city on foot. The film I shot was mostly 35 mm (because the cameras were compact and easy to carry around) but I did shoot a few instant photos along the way as well. 

At top is the CN Tower shot with a Polaroid 250 and some expired Polaroid ID UV Film. I actually took this photo from inside the loft we stayed at where the temperature was more conducive to shooting instant film. Below are two photos from the top of the CN Tower shot with a Polaroid SX70 and some of Impossible Projects PX 680 American Woods film. I've been wanting this film since it came out as a special edition border and was lucky enough to get the three pack for my birthday from my lovely girlfriend. These photos were again taken from an indoor location (the few outdoor photos I attempted with this film made it apparent that it was in fact too cold for good instant photos) but I think they came out pretty well.
